Biography

I am an independent artist with my first solo album, "Looking for Mr. Right" now available.   The album was originally released in September 14, 2000.  I have been involved in music since the age of five and play classical piano with a degree from one of the top ten schools of music.  I began my professional career at the age of seventeen with a gospel group known as "The New Direction" which promoted the musical "Alleluia" by Bill Gaither, which was one of the first groups to use prerecorded soundtracks by the London Symphony Orchestra and a slide presentation for visual effects.

My love of travel has taken me to many different cities domestically and I've enjoyed travel abroad, where I've explored other professional opportunities in many areas of music but it is my love of country music that has brought me back to the music that matters most to me, having been raised in the bluegrass hills of Kentucky.

My debut single, "The Night the Moon Turned Blue", is a song that expresses the loss you feel when that perfect relationship seems to be ending with the "saddest sound you ever heard was when I heard you say goodbye".  "Email Everyday" is a song about "fallin' in love online", which is the way of the future for many of us and in hopes that we can find happiness even if it's 3000 miles away.  "Get Lazy with You" is a swingy tune that has you singing by the end of the first chorus and makes you realize that all the important things in life don't mean a thing if you don't have someone to "get lazy with".   Then comes the ballad, "Not Even Crying", that everyone in a relationship has been through after saying goodbye and wanting to know did they ever really care or are "they just walking away".  Based on the many years of experience in "Looking for Mr. Right", these songs will capture your heart and provide you with some inspiration to keep on trying by making the best of each and every day in your relationships.

"Looking for Mr. Right" was recorded at Bayou Recording in Nashville, Tennassee with producer, George Clinton, who is well known to country music and has worked with Alabama, Reba, Tracy Lawrence, K.T. Oslin and many other renowned artists.  Songwriters, Sandy Knox and Kenny Beard have had numerous number one hits over the years and have again written great songs that will touch your heart and soul.  I only hope that you enjoy listening and dancing to these songs as much as we enjoyed recording them.  This truly is a dream come true for me and I will always treasure the friends that I have made along the way who will have a special place in my heart right next to Mr. Right.
